UNO BEACH HOUSE
The UNO Beach House is a historic 100+ year old building that was originally built in Romanesque style as a turn-of-the-century TRAIN DEPOT. The solid stone construction and 10 Foot ceilings make for a fun and unusual backdrop for youth group housing. There are three floors: men's, women's, and UNO STAFF. There is a kitchen and meeting room on each floor.
Our Summer Mission Trip Dates are very popular and usually book up by January 1. Most or our teams book dates at least 8 months in advance. Contact us for more information about dates and cost.
ROCKAWAY BEACH
There are many reasons that mission teams choose to stay in the UNO Beach House, but the most popular bonus reason is -----THE BEACH! The UNO Beach House is only one block from a beautiful sandy beach! The Atlantic Ocean and New York City's popular Rockaway Beach recreation area is a perfect backdrop for group worship time and fun swimming, surfing, and hanging out!
Plenty of hip restaurants, coffee shops, and food stores are a quick 5 minute walk from the UNO Beach House.
ACCOMODATIONS
The UNO Beach House is a unique dorm-style facility that can accoodate groups of up to 20. The 2nd floor is for females, 3rd floor for males, and the 1st floor is for UNO Staff.
The large UNO Beach House backyard and deck are used for group meetings...as well as neighborhood concerts and outreach events.
