BEST WESTERN, ($103.99/$87.99) Jamaica Inn is the recommended motel for our out of town guests. Best Western is centrally located in Queens and is offering a special discounted rates for World Immersion attendees.
To get the discounted rate, you must make your own reservations by calling the motel directly (do not make reservations online or in person). Make sure to ask for the "World Immersion rate" of $103.99+tax per night for a 2-bed room for 1-4 people.... or a one-bed room for $87.99+tax per night for 1-2 people per room). There are only a limited number of rooms being reserved at this rate....first come, first served. Best Western is near the subway, has a free parking lot, and is located about 10 minutes from most of the World Immersion sites.

ROCKAWAY BEACH HOUSE ($20) is a missionary housing facility in Queens sponsored by Urban Nations Outreach. The facility is located in Southern Queens, one block from the ocean, in an urban neighborhood. It offers dorm style housing with bunk beds (4 beds per room) and shared bathrooms (this is the facility we use for Summer Missions Teams). For this conference, there is a special rate of $20 per person, per night. There are only a limited number of rooms being reserved at this rate....first come, first served. The Rockaway Beach House has free parking, is near the subway, and is located about 50 minutes from most of the World Immersion sites.

FOOD
From Thursday dinner, through Sunday dinner, most meals are included in your World Immersion registration cost. As part of the "immersion experience", we have reserved space in various ethnic restaurants which serve authentic Tibetan, Indian, Arabic or African cuisine. Continental breakfast is provided at the Best Western and Beach House.
An International Smorgasbord Buffet Dinner is part of the Sunday night closing session to be held at a local multi-ethnic church in Queens.
NOTE: Because of the nature of the ethnic foods and the language barriers that exist in many of these restaurant settings, we are not able to make any accommodations for special dietary needs or food allergies.
TRANSPORTATION
Free airport pick ups will only be provided on Thursday from 7:30am until 11:00pm...and only from New York City's 2 main airports: JFK or LaGuardia. Free drop offs to JFK or LaGuardia (from Best Western and Beach House only) will be provided only on Sunday, from 7:00am to 11:00pm. Make sure to mark your needs on the registration form.
For other times and airports.... there are no free pick ups..... but subway, bus and taxi info will be provided upon request. You will be responsible for arranging airport transportation and for the cost of subway, bus or taxi fares on any days other than Thursday or Sunday (as mentioned above).
During the entire 4 days of the World Immersion Weekend, a missionary guide will be available to accompany you or your group as you travel to various neighborhoods by bus/subway. The subway/bus "Metrocard" will be given to you upon your arrival at the World Immersion registration desk and is included as part of your registration fee.
