Beach House Construction
COME HELP US ON OUR NEXT WORK DAY!

The UNO Beach House is a historic 100+ year old building that was originally built in Romanesque style as a turn-of-the-century train depot. The solid stone masonry construction is in good structural shape, but most of the 4400 sq. ft. of the interior needs a lot of work. We are planning to make alterations and improvements that will make the house a perfect environment for our future mission teams, sleeping up to 30 people. Here are some of the projects that we are looking for people to come help with:

-
· painting, & sheet rock
-
· leveling of floors on 2nd floor
-
· shingle roofing
-
· installing tile and hardwood floors
-
· surfacing stairway with vinyl
-
· installing set of french door
-
· landscaping
-
· installing a vinyl fence
UNO Mission Trips
In 2016 we moved into the UNO Beach House. Since then, over 200 church groups have come and stayed in our unique (former train depot built in late 1800) facility because of the inexpensive cost, beach access, and the uniqueness of the environment.
Many mission teams choose New York City because it provides a wide variety of ministry opportunities. Many teams choose to work with Urban Nations Outreach
because we provide hands-on, relational, interaction with New York's Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist immigrants.
UNO Mission Teams help with our church planting efforts by assisting with immigrant children's programs, helping with ESL and conversation classes, accompanying our staff in street evangelism, doing light construction projects, and many more ways.
